Thanks to its large leaves, the Ficus Lyrata, also known as the fiddle leaf fig, is particularly effective at purifying the air in your home by eliminating toxins. It can also help regulate the humidity levels in your room. This makes it the perfect plant if you want to add a touch of elegance to your living room or office.

Maintenance tips

Light

The Fiddle leaf fig enjoys bright spaces and doesn't like areas with a lot of shade. Place it near a source of light, but away from the direct glare of the early afternoon sun.

Watering

In summer, water it once a week when the soil is dry to a depth of 2cm. In winter, don't forget to reduce its water intake (2 to 3 times a month).

Temperatures

Temperatures between 16 and 25°C are perfect. Avoid temperatures below 12°C.

Toxicity

The sap of this plant is slightly toxic and can cause irritation to humans and animals if ingested.
